The countdown for the largest international collision repair conference in the world, IBIS, continues as Innovation Group, which became part of the Carlyle Group in December 2015, has signed on to present a seminar about the role of private equity in the industry.

Innovation Group CEO of Southern Europe Laurence Vivet-Ract has joined the speaker line-up and will discuss the effect of high level investment on the industry and what role it will play in the its future.

Vivet-Racts' wealth of experience when handling relationships with leading insurers and leasing companies gives her the perfect insight into both sectors.

She joins a high-quality list of keynote speakers that also includes Alex Hunter, former global head of online for the Virgin Group, as well as Service King, one of the world’s biggest repair networks, and Bosch.

The theme for this years conference will be 'The Currency of Trust', which focuses on the importance of cross-industry collaboration and relationships, as well as the benefits they provide the collision repair industry.

IBIS will continue to centre the event around its core principles of safety, skills and standards across the world.

Other key partners for this years event include 3M, AkzoNobel, Audatex, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Fix Auto World.

The IBIS Global Summit 2017 will be held 12-14 June at the Meliá Castilla in Madrid.

On the evening of 13 June an international dinner well be held on the pitch of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of football powerhouse Real Madrid.

Delegate places are available for $3,100 which also includes two nights’ accommodation (12 and 13 June) at the Meliá Castilla.
