The Women in Collision Seminar and Awards presentation, sponsored by IAG, takes place on Friday 16 November in Melbourne from 1pm until 5.30pm and there still room for a few more.

The main aim of the day is to network with your peers and connect with other women in our industry.

Here's the day's program:

1pm-1.15 Welcome and introductions.

1.15pm-2pm Ivana Sekanic from IAG's Customer Futures, Custom Labs department. Sekanic will be sharing the customer journey from the IAG perspective and taking questions from the audience.

2-3pm Mindfit. In this interactive section we explore the concept of Stinking Thinking and the impact this has on our mental health and resilience. We undertake a series of fun activities to explore the idea that it is not a trigger (situation, person or event) in itself that causes a stress response, but also how we interpret the trigger.

3pm Afternoon tea

3.20pm From Russia with love. Olga Selezneva is owner and general manager of large independent repair business in Moscow which she set up from scratch. We'll watch a video about her and then have a live link up to Moscow so that we can ask questions.  Katia Gridina from AkzoNobel, who handily is also orginally from Russia, will be translating for us.

3.50pm Receptionists – let’s kill term. We'll divide into groups and work on coming up with other titles for those who work 'front of house' and start a campaign to eradicate the term receptionist.

4.30pm Awards presentation and speeches from winners. We'll be inviting this year's award winners to tell us a bit about themselves and what they love/hate about the industry.

5pm drinks and canapés
