New face at MTAQ

Greg Milne has joined the MTAQ as policy and media director, replacing Richard Payne who retired this month after 45 years in the industry.

Greg is new to the automotive industry but brings a background in media and government, including roles as general manager of ABC Brisbane and senior adviser to the Queensland Minister for Education and Training.

“I am on a vertical learning curve about the industry”, Milne said. “I hope to help MTA members navigate the bureaucracy and understand and use the media. A fresh perspective can sometimes bring benefits and I would like to help persuade government of some of the issues facing the industry in these difficult economic times.”
