'Coping with the rapidly changing automotive landscape' is the subtitle for the Cars of Tomorrow conference in Melbourne on 14 March.
Speakers from many facets of the automotive industry will be discussing specific topics and inviting questions from delegates. The aim of the conference is to identify the emerging technologies that will power vehicles of the future. Organisers say that the Cars of Tomorrow conference 2012 will provide a platform for debate with a discussion-provoking line up of international and local experts.
The keynote speaker is Prof. Neville Jackson, chief technology and innovation officer at Ricardo PLC. Jackson is responsible for developing the future global vision of automotive and energy technology at Ricardo.
Other speakers include: John Mellor, publisher of GoAutoMedia; Ian Chalmers, chief executive, Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries; Dr Victoria Haritos, stream leader – Biofuels CSIRO; Dr Andrew Simpson, managing director Verdant Vision; Ian McCleave, CEO and technical director of EV Engineering.
