The term 'smash repair' is so last century and doesn't convey the complexities and technological skill levels and equipment needed to fix today's advanced vehicles.

What are the alternatives? Thanks to the MTAA, we've comissioned branding company Barker Brands to look at alternative terms to raise the industry's value and image. Repairers are the surgeons of the automotive world and it's time everyone knew it and respected it.

We must raise the industry profile with the consumer, the work providers and most importantly make it a more attractive proposition to the next generation.
