Panel shops are likely to reap the biggest rewards from the new multi-manufacturer rewards program 'Get Genuine Get Rewards'.‘Get Genuine Get Rewards, which launched in April, rewards trade customers’ nominated representatives with Qantas Frequent Flyer points for every dollar the trade customer spends on eligible genuine parts from participating dealers. The trade customer just needs to keep their account current with each dealer.
There are now eight OEM brands – Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Volvo, Renault, Daihatsu, Lexus and Suzuki taking part in the program, with more brands expected to join over the next 12 months.
“Substantial rewards by the end of the year are a real possibility,” says Allan Smith, managing director of the GetGenuine GetRewards program, “especially for bodyshops who have a high parts spend.”
“Increasingly, OEMs have been able to realign pricing to be more and more competitive in the market place,” Smith said. “The GetGenuine program allows them to reward their customers for choosing the genuine part that has been specifically engineered for the vehicle.”
