Hella Australia appoints aftermarket general manager

Newly appointed Hella Australia general manager – independent aftermarket, Tim Trainor.Hella Australia has appointed Tim Trainor as general manager, independent aftermarket.

Trainor brings extensive automotive aftermarket experience to this senior role which oversees all of Hella Australia’s independent aftermarket business segments, including lighting, filtration, thermal management and mining industry products.

He joins Hella Australia after a five-year tenure as general manager of Trico Products.

During this time Trainor presided over the Trico Windscreen Wiper brand’s rise to majority market share leader, while diversifying the company’s product offering outside of wipers through the introduction of new products and distributor arrangements.

Prior to his role with Trico Products, Trainor spent five years with high-end design orientated building products company Rogerseller, where he progressed from NSW commercial manager to state manager and ultimately national business development manager.

“Hella is such a highly respected, premium quality brand and I am excited to be joining the company at this time of growth in their diversified aftermarket operations,” he said. “It is also great to be a part of a company that has a rich 50-year history of manufacturing and marketing in Australia, making it one of the veterans of the industry.
