More and more businesses involved with the autobody repair industry are finding the internet a useful tool in delivering information to customers, and De Beer Refinish, which is celebrating 100 years of business, is no different.
While the new De Beer website has been available in several languages for some time now, and the company is seeing the number of visitors rise every day, not all those who travel to the site have discovered the possibilities of the website.
Among for features on the De Beer homepage is the ability to sign up for the company's RSS feeds.
Subscribers to the feeds will receive an email as soon as something new is placed on the website.
Customers can also log onto the recently introduced Colour Service Form (CSF) through the homepage.
The CSF system allows users to make colour requests via the internet and check on their status.
De Beer staff are presently entering as many customers as possible into this system. As soon as a customer's account is activated they will receive an email from De Beer and a letter with login information.
This email and letter contain a link to a separate CSF site, but clients can also go straight from the website to their CSF.
The downloads page of the website offers various up-to-date files that can be downloaded.
Visitors to the site will find the most up-to-date overviews of:
- Mixing machine configurations
- Colour updates
- VOC-compliant products
- Barcodes of De Beer and Valspar Industrial Line products
- Colour Box
- VOC-compliant technical product overview
Visitors will also find the newsletter and Tech Flash archive, all located at www.debeer.com
