Dent repairer in iTunes with phone app

Gold Coast paintless dent repairer (PDR) Shane Anderson has developed an Apple-approved iPhone application to help other PDR professionals quote jobs.

The application allows users to quote a job in less than a minute from any location in the world.

Anderson has taken six months to develop ‘PDR Quote’ which is now available in 87 countries through the iTunes App Store and is complete with over 900 makes and models of cars from around the globe.

PDR Quote already has a spin-off ‘iCAR Quote’ that enables any type of auto service industry to tailor the application to their specifications so that they too can quickly quote on repairing anything from mag-wheels to new windscreens.

Anderson, who owns Presi-Dent Removals, said this new application will revolutionise the way the industry quotes its repairs for customers.

“I’ve developed the software so that people can be anywhere in the field, send a quote almost instantly and have that same quote sync back into their computer ,” he said.

Later, the application will link directly to major insurance companies’ systems so quotes and invoices can be sent directly from repairers’ iPhones to the insurance companies.
