The latest incarnation of the Porsche 911 has an all-new, lightweight body that Porsche describe as ‘an intelligent aluminium-steel construction’.

It is responsible for a significant proportion of the 911’s trimness in the curb weight department with a reduction of up to 45kgs. A further benefit is significantly greater rigidity. Carrera premieres at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show and hits Australian showrooms in March next year.
