AAAA Collision Repair Expo goes from strength to strength

Collision Repair Expo Preview

Bigger and better in 2011, the Collision Repair Expo is the place to be this month as the industry gathers in Melbourne. AP&P gives the lowdown on the organisers, the events and the exhibitors.

All exhibition space at the 2011 Collision Repair Expo, being held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from Thursday, 12 May to Saturday, 14 May, has been sold.

Strong demand for space began in Sydney during the successful 2009 Collision Repair Expo, with businesses and industry bodies moving quickly to book stands in their favourite locations for the 2011 Melbourne event.

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) hosts the expo, and executive director Stuart Charity said the early sell-out of exhibition space is a bonus for the industry committee organising the show.

“This show is run by a committee of committed industry leaders and they can now focus on the remaining critical elements to ensure another successful expo,” Charity said.

“This is a trade-only show directed at workshop owners and managers. To support the stars of expo – the exhibitors – the team is now finalising the special events program and implementing the comprehensive information campaign to keep workshop owners and managers up to date with expo highlights and exhibitors’ news.

The Collision Repair Expo will again have the separate Automotive Aftermarket Expo next door and the combined exhibition space will be 21,000 square metres, which is 10 per cent more than in Sydney in 2009.
